2016-04-01Align test_disk buffer for DMA.Boris Gjenero1-4/+6
Some targets can only use storage DMA if the memory location is storage aligned. The required alignment can be more strict than word alignment, which was used previously. This change ensures that aligned transfers in test_disk can use DMA. Change-Id: I605b4d57f9e9c04920587017032f14449645693a
2014-02-25test_disk: Add an additional dirscan test that calls dir_get_info() also.Thomas Martitz1-0/+25
Especially on hosted dir_get_info() can be relatively. It is commonly called after every readdir() for further information about the dir entry. So it's peformance compared to readdir()-only is interesting. Change-Id: I03ab41fb190acf738e04a5d3b2a4fe29276094f6

2011-12-25rbpaths: Add new special dir HOME_DIR for RaaA.Thomas Martitz1-2/+2
HOME_DIR is intended for not-so-advanced files which shall be user visible, and thus not in /.rockbox. Therefore HOME_DIR is translated to $HOME on RaaA, /sdcard on android, the internal memory on ypr0 and "/" on native targets. ROCKBOX_DIR ("/.rockbox") already existed as special and is translated to whatever the real rockbox dir is on the target (e.g. /sdcard/rockbox on android), but it's not suitable for some files we generate (e.g. battery-bench.txt). git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@31430 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2011-01-24* Rename backlight_force_on to backlight_ignore_timeout to make it clear ↵Teruaki Kawashima1-2/+2

2010-08-24Second try: Introduce plugin_crt0.c that every plugin links.Thomas Martitz1-1/+1
It handles exit() properly, calling the handler also when the plugin returns normally (also make exit() more standard compliant while at it). It also holds PLUGIN_HEADER, so that it doesn't need to be in each plugin anymore. To work better together with callbacks passed to rb->default_event_handler_ex() introduce exit_on_usb() which will call the exit handler before showing the usb screen and exit() after it. In most cases rb->default_event_handler_ex() was passed a callback which was manually called at all other return points. This can now be done via atexit(). In future plugin_crt0.c could also handle clearing bss, initializing iram and more. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@27873 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2010-06-21Rockbox as an application: Replace many occurences of #ifdef SIMULATOR with ↵Thomas Martitz1-2/+2
#if (CONFIG_PLATFORM & PLATFORM_HOSTED) (or equivalently). The simulator defines PLATFORM_HOSTED, as RaaA will do (RaaA will not define SIMULATOR). The new define is to (de-)select code to compile on hosted platforms generally. Should be no functional change to targets or the simulator. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@27019 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2010-05-06Make open() posix compliant api-wise. A few calls (those with O_CREAT) need ↵Thomas Martitz1-1/+1
the additional optional mode parameter so add it. Impact for the core is almost zero, as open() is a wrapper macro for the real open function which doesn't take the variable parameter. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@25844 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657

2008-06-23FS#9051 - remove LCD margins... use viewports if you need them...Jonathan Gordon1-1/+0
NOTE to WPS people.... %m has been removed, but (i think) because of the other %m tags it wont fail if you try loading a wps with %m|..|, it will just be ignored. Also note that if the statusbar is enabled the default viewport is 8 pixels shorter than when its not, i.e (0,0) is really (0,8) if the statusbar is shown... I dont think this will be a major issue because almost no WPS show the bar and use bitmaps... text only WPS shouldnt be affected. 2007-04-21General housekeeping: Make plugin buffer functions take size_t * instead of ↵Michael Sevakis1-1/+1
int * to match the parameter type of the buffer functions called in the core. Get rid of unsafe int * <==> size_t * casting. Use ssize_t where int was used and size_t where unsigned int was used in the buffer calls to not alter signedness in the plugins. No API version change since it should only be an issue for 64-bit sim builds. git-svn-id: svn://svn.rockbox.org/rockbox/trunk@13233 a1c6a512-1295-4272-9138-f99709370657
